When it comes to Topshop, I hardly ever shop there. Yet, for my birthday I received a £50.00 Topshop gift card so decided to explore a different shopping site for a change. I usually find that the stuff in there is so expensive that I leave with only one item which is still overpriced.
So, I was surprised at how nice the clothes were and the affordability of them. (Yet that’s probably because I bought from the sale). It wasn’t as great as the deals you can get elsewhere, particularly from other high street stores like Zara, H&M and so on, but it was okay. Read on to see what I bought from Topshop for just under £50.
Shopping is cheaper than therapy!
Probably the comfiest top I’ve bought in a while. I’m quite a “nesh” person so this top keeps me lovely and warm without being too thick a material that I get overly hot. I always buy plain white, black or grey t-shirts so it’s a nice change to have a stripey red addition to my wardrobe.
I have a few shirts but I don’t tend to wear them much because I hate it when they crease. It annoys me so much but that’s because I’m extremely OCD. However, for £10.00 this shirt was too cute not to buy.
I’ve always been a massive fan of black, bodycon mini skirts. I’ve had one of my favourite ones since Year 10 and it’s fair to say from the number of parties I used to go, it’s now ruined.
Although this skirt I’ve bought from Topshop is nice, it tends to rise up a little and isn’t as tight as my other even though it’s brand new and “fresh”. (Basically, it’s not been stretched.) It’s not bad for £9.00 but I wouldn’t pay it again – I was actually debating returning it.
I love Topshop flares and these did not disappoint. The fit, length, material, just everything about them is great, however, I do think they look slightly different in person than on the images. That doesn’t bother me though – I still love them.
I normally only wear black ankle socks but with Summer upon us, I think pairing white socks and trainers with a cute summer dress or playsuit looks really nice. Hence, I needed to buy these Frenchie socks.
I got two pairs because there was some offer on at the time that meant it was cheaper to buy two. Though, for the sake of this post, I’ve just put the price of one pair of socks.
