I love being cosy and comfortable but hate the thought of wearing only leggings or trackies to stay warm. I’m no fashion icon but I think most people can agree a jumpsuit will often look better than a pair of trackies and a t-shirt – especially when I’m going out for the day.
So, I’ve been on a mission to find lots of jumpsuits to get my wardrobe autumn-ready. I love shopping on Boohoo because I find it to be super cheap, more so than PrettyLittleThing, and for what I wanted to buy, the products are of OK quality. See below all of my Boohoo jumpsuits for autumn (and some other stuff I bought).
1. Crop T-Shirt Strappy Jumpsuit Co-ord Set
Though this jumpsuit comes as a pair the main reason I bought this piece was for the jumpsuit. I thought it’d be great paired with a white shirt, crop t-shirt like shown or a lace or mesh bodysuit. It fits great and is good quality i.e. it’s not see-through material. The only “issue” is that the legs are quite long so I’m going to turn them up. (And by that I mean my mum will turn them up.)
2. Square Neck Cut Side Skinny Leg Jumpsuit
I must begin with showing my excitement that this jumpsuit was only £6.00! That’s ridiculous. Anyway, this jumpsuit is probably my favourite. It’s super comfy, is flattering, doesn’t give you a camel toe and can be worn both out-out and casual. I paired it with a long black coat, black high neck top and white trainers. This time the only “issue” is that it’s a camel/beige shade so if I was wearing it by itself I’d want to fake tan else it could make me look pasty.
3. Striped Culotte Jumpsuit
I’m not much for culottes but with this jumpsuit being £6.00 I thought I’d buy it and try to see if it’d change my mind – it did. I feel the jumpsuit “legs” looks pretty wide on the model which is what I hate about culottes, but that’s about as wide as they end up looking. I’d just wear it casual with trainers or espadrilles though it’s that comfy I did wear it as pyjamas/onesie one night.
4. Tie Dye Wrap Cami Playsuit
I love playsuits which if you’re a regular reader, you’ll already know. I know this isn’t exactly autumn wear but it’s something else I bought within this Boohoo haul so I thought I’d include it too. Anyway, it’s really nice and comfy and fully covers my bum which not every playsuit does. I’d just say that if you’re planning on wearing it without a t-shirt or anything underneath, it’s quite baggy on the top half so perhaps size down or ditch unless you have big boobs.
5. Military Wrap Front Cargo Style Jumpsuit
I recently bought a jumpsuit similar to this from Primark in black. The Primark jumpsuit cost £7.00 but was a poorer quality material. You get what you pay? The Boohoo one is fab because it’s super stretchy without being see-through and only costs a smidge more. You can dress it up with heels like the model shows to make it an out-out outfit as well as pairing it with chunky trainers (like those amazing FILA ones lots of people have) for a casual look.
6. D-Ring Wrap Jumpsuit
Another of my favourites, this jumpsuit is in the same style as the khaki one above but in the stone colour. Again, for me, I feel it looks best when I’ve fake tanned so I don’t end up looking super pale and I love this with nude heels or a pair of perspex court heels.
7. Wrap Front Skinny Leg Jumpsuit
I don’t normally buy bright coloured clothes but I thought for how cheap this jumpsuit is, I’d try something new. Like every jumpsuit I’ve mentioned, you could wear this casual or dressy and I think that’s probably my favourite thing about jumpsuits. Even when you wear them casual they look dressier than a pair of joggers and a t-shirt or even jeans and a t-shirt. It’s a win-win.
8. Geometric Print Kimono Sleeve Playsuit
Another playsuit because why not?! I’m going to Barcelona soon which you’ll hear about mid-November, but that’s the main reason I bought this. I know it’s not going to be roasting but I wanted a slightly more colourful playsuit to take with me in case the weather was warm.
9. Tie Side Snake Print Wide Leg Jumpsuit
I’m still not too sure on this playsuit. I mean it fits really nice and tight without being too tight but I’m not 100% on the pattern and colour. I think I’ll have to wear it out and try styling it in a few more ways before I know whether I love it or not. I’d pair it with a white long shirt and chunky trainers, a pink lace/mesh top and nude heels or by itself with nude heels.
10. Pastel Strip Shorts and Longline Blazer
The final thing I bought in my Boohoo haul is this short and blazer set. I think this is a going-out piece though I loved it as pyjamas. The shorts by themselves with a bodysuit look fine for going out but I just feel like wearing them together is too much. Maybe that’s because I’m not used to wearing that kind of thing but either way it fits really nice, is high quality and super comfy.
